At LFBC we believe we are called to develop fully committed followers of Christ, who
for the glory of God the Father and through the power of the Holy Spirit, spend a lifetime embracing
the full supremacy of the Son, responding to His majesty in all areas
of life and inviting Christ to live His life through them, and join with Him in making
disciples of all nations.
We will see our purpose fulfilled when we have every member Magnifying God in a
Worship Service, every member Maturing in a Small Group Bible Study, every member
Ministering by serving in the local Body, and every member a Missionary sharing Christ
with the world. We want to create a circle of discipleship that flows seamlessly from one
stage into the next. You are not truly a disciple of Christ until you are a disciple maker
for Christ. This takes place in four stages:
Stage 1: Outreach- Events which are hosted once a month for the specific purpose of
connecting to lost and un-churched students and inviting them to join us at
church.
Stage 2: Fuel- This is our mid-week Youth Group on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm. It is
a mixture of fun and bible. This is the entry point into the youth group,
an introduction in to who God is and what it means to be a Christian.
Stage 3: Sunday School- Small group bible study serves to call students into
a deeper commitment level to God. We do small group bible study at 9am on
Sunday mornings.
Stage 4: M&M Projects are our monthly mission projects aimed at reaching our
community for Christ.
